We have just installed 2007 Office professional. We are using XP SP2
competely updated. We have a file server which only holds the files. We can
see the server and load documents but when we try to save them back to the
server it we get the message "*.* currently in use. Try again later." We
have installed SP1 and the Microsoft Compatibility Pack.
We have tried thus far:
Renaming the document. (same result)
Connecting and Disconnecting a network drive (no impact)
deleted temporary files
It does not impact all machines, two seem to have similar problems, two do
not. Any suggestions?
