Message every time loading

Office 2K Pro

Some time recently every time I load Excel, Access or Word (but not
Powerpoint) , I get a message from the Windows Installer:

Preparing to install, Please wait while Windows configures Office 2000 Pro.

Settings are gathered, 3 progress bars are displayed and after 5 seconds or
so, the program loads without any further issues.

What can I do to prevent this?
