Message reminders only appear if message is in the inbox?

After not receiving reminders that I have setup for messages, i have finally
noticed that if I move the message to another folder i created beneath my
inbox that the reminder will not pop up. I have to leave the message in my
inbox for it to pop up the reminder.

Is there anyway that this can be changed to where i can move the message and
the pop up reminder will still displayed at the chosen time? Thanks

That's the way it works and you can't change it. Reminders work only from
the main folder.
