messages don't load from mail server without prompting.

New messages don't show up in my inbox unless I click on an existing message.
Then any message on my mail server suddenly show up all at once. Any
thoughts on this? None of the other workstations in my office have this
problem.

That's an indication that UDP packets are not reaching your machine. Search
for "UDP" on support.microsoft.com for some suggestions.
