Messages received do not appear in my Inbox or in any other folder

Even though the details task bar shows that Outlook is indeed receiving the
messages (the number of messages appear), the messages do not come into any
folder. I have used POSTSCAN, but it come back saying it didn't find any
errors.

Look at your View settings. Make sure it is set to All Messages.
