Method to determining pasted image format?

Hello,

When using paste special for an image into a Word 2002 Document, there are
several formats to choose: picture, bitmap, device independant bitmap,
enhanced metafile, GIF, PNG, etc. Is there any way to determine what format
was chosen for an image when it was pasted.
