microphone to dictate letters in word

I want to dictate to my computer a letter. I want to have the option to use
the microphone or the keyboard. I do not see the( Speach )tick mark when I
open the tool bar in word for windows.

Hi Neil,

Dictation from MS Office XP or 2003 is supported only
for U.S. English, Japanese and Chinese. The Dictation
feature is an optional install choice from the Microsoft
Office listing in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control Panel.
