microsecond timelines - Engineering timelines

Would like to use visio to create some engineering timeline that are down in
the micro second range, is there a way to do this in Visio?

Shapesheet, section "User defined cells", row "User.visMinorTimeScale". You
can adapt this. But I bet it won't work. Tell us if it does. Or if you can
do it with only changing Shapesheet cells.

Even with Microsoft Project it is not possible with seconds (or minutes ?).
I needed it as a guide to bookbinding.

So it can not be done? Do you know of a product that will do this type of
timeline?
