microsof office 1007 is not working

when i try to type in word it says, "this modification is not allowed beacuse
this section is locked"

Office 1007 is a really ancient (1000-year-old) version of Office that
was designed for use on stone tablets running Windows Bedrock, and it
won't work on modern computers.

I suspect you meant to type 2007 instead of 1007? :)

Did you activate your Office installation? Do you have a trial version
installed that has expired?
