Microsoft 97

[Help needed]

My crazy husband had XP gold loaded onto his laptop that
he bought and then put Microsoft 97 on it. I'd like to
take it off but we don't have the CD anymore. I've
searched all over the web for help. Any suggestions? I
go to my control panel and try to add/remove the office
but it says I need a cd. HELP

1) What's "XP Gold"?

2) What's "Microsoft 97"? Oh I see, you meant *Office* 97. Why don't you
have the CD anymore?

I recommend finding that CD you *purchased* (Office 97), then you will be
able to uninstall w/o a problem.
