Microsoft Access can't start because there is no license for it on this machine.

New Dell machine running XP Pro with Office XP (no MS
Access).
After loading Office 97 (including Access), the following
message occurs:
"Microsoft Access can't start because there is no license
for it on this machine."
The other Office 97 products (Word 97, Excel 97,
PowerPoint 97) are OK.

Can you help?

Common problem usually caused by, of all things, a font.

details and the fix.
