Microsoft closing word

Since getting a new PC last month, which has Windows XP
Pro and Office 2003 Pro loaded onto it I have been having
problems with Word. I keep receiving the
message "Microsoft Word has encountered a problem and will
have to close.........." I can find no common reason for
this happening, today it was when I sent it to be printed,
it has also happened when I have closed a document and
occasionally while I am still typing.

After the first few times I ran detect and repair, it
reappeared so the Tech people uninstalled Word and
reinstalled it. It still kept happening so they
uninstalled Office and reinstalled it. Yesterday they
uninstalled and reinstalled Windows but it is still
happening. We are now at a loss as to the next step. Can
anyone please help? Thanks

I have the very same specs of OS and Office and have the
very same problem, and have tried the very same solutions
to troubleshoot !!!
and believe me life is hell with this problem !!!

every single line I type, I keep saving it , cause its
soon gonna crash !!!!, and the document recovery winodw
comes up ..its a PAIN using word on my comp now

alhtough I have seen this ususally happes, if I have more
than one doc open .

but this is highly irritating, and I hope microosft does
something about this !!!!!!!!!

I have Windows XP Home ed., & have had it since last
Fall. Over the past month, I've encountered the same
problem w/Microsoft Word. It'll simply close, while I'm
in the middle of typing, w/out any known reason. It has
neither been determined why this problem began nor has
anyone in Tech. Support been able to stop it from
continuing. PLEASE, if anyone can help w/this, please
please HELP!! Thank you.
