Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

I noticed that Entourage 2008 keeps looking for X509 Anchors every time it attempts a Send/Receive function or every 5 minutes.

It shows up in my system.log file as: /Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Microsoft Entourage.app/Contents/MacOS/Microsoft Entourage[14569]: Warning: accessing obsolete X509Anchors.

I am not using any certificates, SSL or anything... ONLY simple POP email.

I have looked all over the place and found several other people with this problem but NO real solutions that I can understand.

Can anyone offer up any advice, help or anything?

Thanks!

I would but it seems to be dragging on my system resources and more so my laptop battery life. Any ideas?

It is a harmless warning and has nothing to do with your resources, battery life or anything else. Keep looking.
