Microsoft Eraser Utility

Is there an eraser utility for Word 2002? I need to
uninstall & reinstall Word, but I have heard that I need
to completely erase the program after the uninstall. I
can only find utilities for 97 & 2000. If there's not
one, do I just uninstall & then reinstall & hope for the
best?

Just delete the Word or Office program folder in your program files. You run
the Office Clean up wizard on the Office CD-ROM, but I'm not sure it will
work with the present version of Office, but do a search for it "Office
clean upwizard" you will see and executable run and see if it works.
