Microsoft Files getting converted to Zero bytes

Hello all

I have a installed Star Office and Microsoft Office in the
same system . They are working fine but how and why i
donot know all my microsoft files are converted to Zero
Bytes showing the modified date as 29-04-2004 and all my
Star Office files are intact. Can I get ny files back and
what could be the reason for convertion.

Hi, Srinivas. One possible reason for the file size changing to 0 bytes
is the ExploreZip worm... see
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/worm.explore.zip.html. Hope
you have a recent backup of your Microsoft Office document files.
