Microsoft Forms ERror Message and Missing Objects

S

Scubasocks

I had to install and then uninstall a Visual Basic application as it made my
Offce applications virtually shut down! When I tried to run an office
application I got a Visual Basic error message that told me there was a
system catastrophic error and then that I was out of memory! Now, with the
troublesome application removed, when I open an Office application (at least
Word and Excel) I get a Microsoft Forms Error Message telling me. "Could not
load an object because it is not available on this machine." What object
might that be, I wonder? I also note that in Word I'm not able to highlight
words ("fill color) or make line colors as the color palettes for both are
gone - all the color blocks are just white and I can't click on anything. I
can still change font colors, however. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall
Office? I've tried just using the repair utility but nothing changes. The
technical experience and expertise of this community forum would be greatly
apreciated in helping me to restore Office to its full capacity. Thank you.

Chances are that it had nothing to do with VBA and your
slowdown/errors were related to an addin? This article explains that
issue...

And since you really can't uninstall VBA...I have no idea what you
actual did. So as to your problem...your guess is as good as mine
since we don't know what you really did uninstall???
