Microsoft Frontpage For Mac

Is there a Microsoft Frontpage version for Mac computers? And where can I
purchase it? If not, is there a similar program where you can design
webpages that works on Macs?

There was once, but Microsoft discontinued it and I'm
pretty sure it's out of support.

Type
? macintosh "html editor"
in the the IE address box and and then press Enter.

Dreamweaver from Macromedia (?) is an equivalent which I think was on the Mac
long before the Windows version came out. but it has a steeper learning curve
than Frontpage.

If the mac has brought out MS Office for Macintosh, I don't see why MS would not
release Frontpage for Mac or maybe they gave up on the idea, I don't know.

Anyway there are probably others such as "Home Site" "Cold Fusion",
"Dreamweaver" - but these are all more difficult to learn. Adobe has a product
as well that fits well with Photoshop.

MS discontinued the MAC version of FP back in 1999.

Homesite is not available for the Mac. ColdFusion code is written by
Dreamweaver out of the box. To develop in CF on the Mac, one would only
need access to a CF server on a remote testing server. Adobe's GoLive is
available for the Mac as is Macromedia's Dreamweaver.

Learning curve steepness is a very subjective thing. I don't know about
GoLive, but Dreamweaver is a very different program from FrontPage and will
require some study to make the transition.
