Microsoft-Insufficient Memory/Disk Space

Just today, I tried to open MSW( Microsoft Word) and I
get a pop up that says"There is insufficient memory or
disk space. Word cannot display the requested font". If
I'm opening a document from "my documents" I get a screen
where all I see is about the lower 1/4 of the words
displayed. I tried switching fonts and that didn't do
anything. When I try to open a new document,I get the
same message, and when I try to type nothing appears.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I'll bet you are using WIN/ME
I encountered this problem a number of times
If you have the temperment, hit Ctrl-Alt-Del
Then, click on the Processes" tab
Next, find Winword.exe under Image name
Click on "End Process

Give it a few seconds to clear internal tables
Then, restart/open Word.

I see that someone named Bonnie had the same problem in September 03.
I've started getting this problem today also. I can't even use m
email because it relies on MSWord as my email editor. I'll have to ge
that changed or go crazy. Please record a response on this board i
you discover the problem and solution. Thanks.

btw, earlier, did you find that some of your Word options were missin
-- such as ability to put in page borders, reduction in the choice o
fonts,... I've had to use my disc to add those features, but thought
had put them in when i did the original install. Thought it might b
related problem
