Microsoft! need help so we can beat Linux!

Working a government contract, need to get a problem
resolved that we're seeing in our development prototype.

Our dynamic menus (written using basic dhtml and
javascript) won't overlap on top of our spreadsheet
component.

Any assistance you can give us on this issue will be most
appreciated.

ActiveX controls and windowed controls always float to the top and do not
respond to z-ordering either. To beat this, you will have to join it - your
menu needs to be a windowed control or an ActiveX control, basically.
There's a link somewhere on the internet but I can't find it now, it shows
how to hack this by wrapping the menu in span tag I believe - if memory
serves me right. Good luck with your linux/windows war. These wars only
serve to leave children without parents.
