microsoft office 2000 shortcut bar problem

I have installed MS office 2000 premium edition on my
windows XP. When I try to add files or folders to
the "button" menue on the shortcut bar the program
freezes up. Any suggestions?

try a file system check on your system, then a detect and repair on office from any office program
