Microsoft Office 2007 Question

Hello Community,

I have just finished reading most of the question about the beta version of
Office 2007. My question is if I download and install this beta versions, do
I have to remove Office 2003 or can both version run on my system?

If you do not have two different partitions, remember to NOT install them in
same folder. It should work like a charm except Outlook which seems to have
problem if installed at same time as outlook 2007

Is there a custom option to exclude Outlook from the installation? I plan to
try it on an external HD

Ok I tried it but couldn't figure out how to exclude outlook...last time I
promise :)

How do I do that?

1- Run the installation.
2- Add your license number (serial number)
3- Next window will let you choose between programs you want to install
(example: outlook, access, word)
4- Before you click next, look at down left corner where it is writen
advanced installation or something like that (I don't have it in front of me,
so I can't remember exact phrase). Select the box
5- Click next. here you can customize every single thing in your installation.

I did see all that and all the programs listed but I was a bit confused as
to how to select or not select a program. I guess its the option that says
something like "run this from CD"? Its a bit confusing...why couldn't they
just say install or not install? :) Guess that's too easy

When you do not want to install something, choose the one with big red "X"
When you want to install it, choose the first one.
The differences between the first and the second is that the first one will
install just what you choose but the second one will also install all the
under categories with it.
Example is:
There is Word ---> universal font
If you choose the first one when you click on Word, just Word will be
installed and not Universal font which is under Word. But if you choose "run
all from the..." úniversal font will be also installed.
There is another choise which says "install it after first use" (something
like that). This means it will not install it unless you use it once.
