Microsoft Office 2007 Won't Save Documents

Hello all-

Microsoft office word 2007 is not saving documents of any type. I click "save" or "save as", and nothing happens. (This also occurs in excel).

I've tried deleting the .dot file and the Data registry, but neither of those options work. :confused: Some forums suggested creating a new Windows user profile, but I just wanted to check to see if there are any other options available to me.

I'm in college, and use Word on a daily basis for homework- please help!

(I also just noticed that I can't attach files to e-mails, either- I click "attach" and nothing happens.)
