Now that Microsoft has released the beta to the public, can anyone tells us
what's new for PowerPoint. Hopefully their is a method to write PowerPoint
presentations to CD.

I'm not sure what you mean with a method to write PPT presentations to a
CD. Do you mean a built-in CD writer program?

No, there's no "Paack & Go" in PowerPoint 2007. Already in version 2003 it
was replaced by "Package for CD", which is much more useful than the old
P&G, because it repairs links, includes the Viewer and an autorun file.
This will of course be continued into 2007.

Sorry, I meant write to DVD so that it can be watched on TV.

Hi Bobby,

Nope, not in there. PPT 2007 does not have a built-in movie creator. I
think there are 3rd party programs that provide such functionality, but
I don't know if they write a Video DVD.

That's unfortunate. Apparently Microsoft isn't much interested in the
comments made my people on this forum over the years.
