microsoft office 2007

I uninstalled free 60 day trial version of office 2007. In doing so, I can't
open any of my old files. Says my program has been deleted, corrupted, etc.
I tried reinstalling original cd that came with computer, but still no luck.
Any ideas?

Did you reinstall another or older version of Office? You need to have
some version of office installed to open the files.
