Microsoft Office Basic 2003 Freezes Up

Suddenly my Microsoft Office Basic 2003 freezes up in an attempt to use it in
any feature. I can't open a document or save it. I can't even senD the
shortcut to the desktop. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program,
downloaded all the current Windows and Office updates, did a full scan with
my Norton and a quickscan with the device downloaded from miccrosoft website
today. No viruses were detected in either. What do I do next?

I am right with you. I had this update in a ghost image and it has been
deployed. Many users are having the same issue.
