I use MODI to open attached faxes (TIF) within Outlook. Within the last few
months, these tif attachments seem to take 15 to 20 seconds to open in MODI.
I need to find out why this is happening.
I have tried to do the following as a repair:
1.) Go to Control Panel, select “Uninstall a program†link under Programs
section.â€
High Microsoft Office 2007.
2.) Click on “Change†located on the navigation link near the top of the
window.
3.) Select “Add or Remove Featuresâ€, then click “Continueâ€.
4.) Expand “Office Tools†section.
5.) Click on the drop down list for “Microsoft Office Document Imaging†and
select “Run all from My Computerâ€.
6.) Click “Continueâ€.
7.) Click “Close†when installation done.
After performing the above, the slowness repeats (15-20 seconds).
I have tried using Windows Photo Gallery, but when I try to print these tif
documents, they are unreadable. The only way that I can get these to be
legible is to use MODI.
Any ideas?
