Microsoft Office Document Scanning terminates prematurely

I've been using Microsoft Office Document Scanning for quite some time.
Right now, when ever I use it to scan, it "cancels" halfway.
That is, After pressing Scan, the scanner scans a little and the window of
"Scanning" says it has been cancelled and there's icons to resume scanning.

I've tested with 3 scanners and 4 All-in-ones. All are giving me the same
responses.
But if I use other softwares to scan, I do not have this problem.

Microsoft has little or no support on this.

You could try Detect & Repair function from Help, Detect & Repair. from
within any office applications.

May be some files are corrupted.

Thanks hth!
Just tried that function. but I still get "cancelled" automatically like
before. :(
I suspect that it may be a programming error due to Memory overload or
something.
It happens after I scanned like 119 pages continuously. Once I passed that
number of pages, it cancels as soon as I press "continue". Just to note, the
OCR is turned on as well.

Acrobat has no problems in the number of pages. I have surpassed 800 pages
before at one go.

Perhaps the answer is to scan in 100 page "sections" and THEN create the
document from the "sections".

Frustrated Bruno

I have the same problem. When I start Microsoft Office Document Scanning, it
freezes up my PC. I cannot even use the Preset Option. I have to end the
program manually. I followed the online instructions from MS but it produced
absolutely NO results. I have written to MS but I have not yet received an
answer or a solution to this problem. The same happens when using Microsoft
Office Document Imaging. Very annoying. Anyone has an idea of what the
problem is? Thanks in advance.
