Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 and Professional 2007

My question is I purchased a new laptop that had MS Office Home & Student
2007 but I want to become certified so need to have the MS Office
Professional 2007 Suite.

Do I need to purchase MS Office Profrofessional 2007 full package or can I
purchase the Upgrade package. Home and Student does not have Outlook,
PUblisher, Access or Accounting Express so will an upgrade package work?

If I install the Microsoft Office Professional 2007 full Suite do I need to
uninstall the Home and Student package?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

What you have on your newly purchased laptop is a Trial version of MS Office Home &
Student .You need to purchase the MS Office > Professional 2007 Suite. Also you
will need to uninstall the Home and Student Trial along with the Activation
Assistant before attempting to install the Office Professional

And it would need to be the full package not the upgrade version (unless you
have another qualifying product on the computer which are listed here:

Peter, thank you for this information as my brother purchased the upgrade as
he was told by Best Buy he did not need the Office Professional 2007 complete
package and I was told I did need it as the upgrade would not work.

Much appreciated.
