Is there a way to insert the shortcut icons for word, access, excel, etc on
a toolbar in Outlook?

Thank you,

Build a Outlook Personal menu:

- Select View from your Outlook program menu (not this message)
- Select Toolbars
- Select Customize
- Select the Commands tab if it is not already selected.
- Scroll to the bottom of the "Categories:" window and select NEW MENU
- With your mouse pointer, click on NEW MENU in the "Commands:" window
drag and drop it beside your Question Mark icon on your standard toolbar.
- Right Click the NEW MENU button
- Change the NAME box from New Menu to My Menu or your name.
- Press the <Enter> key when you are done typing
- You are now ready to add buttons to your menu

You can build toolbar buttons to launch favorite Web pages or Files or
Programs without going to the Favorites menu.

From your Outlook Menu:

- Select View on your Outlook program menu (not this message)
- Select Toolbars
- Select Customize
- Select the Commands tab if it is not already selected.
- Click on the Mail Message button and drag and drop it to the position
on your toolbar where you want your Office Program launch button.
(If you have built a MY MENU place it in the blank gray area below
on that menu)
- Right-click the button you just copied and give it a new name by
typing "EXCEL" in the NAME box.
- Continue down the menu and choose Assign Hyperlink
- Select Open...
- Click Browse and browse to where your "Excel.exe" is located.
- Select Excel.exe and click OK.
- Right-click the button you just copied again.
- Select Change Button Image and select a picture that you would
like to use.
- Right-click the button one last time and select Image and Text,
if it is not already selected.
- Close the Customize dialog box.
- You are ready to test your new button.

Did this work for you?
