This might not be the right site to post this, but the
whole customer sevice site is confusing.
My problem: I purchased Microsoft Office for my Mac OSx a
year or so ago. A recent problem with my Mac required me
to send it into Apple to get it fixed. As a precaution, I
copied some Word and Excel files to my wife's computer, and
sent my Mac in for service. They fixed it, but had to
replace the hard drive. When I got it back, I installed
the Office:mac CD applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and
copied my files back to my computer. When I tried to open
them, however, I am asked to provide a "CD Key" from the
back of the booklet I got with my software. I can't find
the booklet -- I probably threw it away.
Is there a solution to this?
