In my Global Address Book, in the Select Names box, how can I re-
arrange the order in which the fields are displayed?

Which box do you exactly mean? I can't see any named "Select Names".

When writing an e-mail, I click "TO" which brings up the "Select
Names" box showing the contents of the "Global Address List".

Currently, the column-headings ("fields") are:

NAME
BUSINESS PHONE
OFFICE
TITLE
COMPANY
ALIAS
E-MAIL TYPE
E-MAIL ADDRESS

How can I re-arrange the columns so they look like:

NAME
E-MAIL ADDRESS
OFFICE
BUSINESS PHONE
TITLE
COMPANY
ALIAS
E-MAIL TYPE

You can't. The Address Book interface is not configurable.

You can't :) Outlook Address Book doesn't let you do any customization
except the sort order of the first column.
