Picture Manager doesn't have frames. You must use a software package that
does --

SnagIt from http://www.techsmith.com has "edge effects."

I think Photoshop Elements has edge effects also. http://www.adobe.com

In current versions of PPT you can draw an autoshape on the slide and use
Format|Fill Effects|Picture to fill the shape with a picture. This is useful
to do things like put a photo inside an oval.

In PPT 2007, currently in beta testing, there are some very nice photo edges
and other effects you can add. This is a new feature in PPT, and I'm sure it
will be a popular one. You can see for yourself by taking the "test drive" at
http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/beta/testdrive.mspx

You might also check Photo Story
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx Not sure if it does edges or not, but worth a look.

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=ATSA,ATSA:2006-01,ATSA:en&q=photo+edges might also give you some ideas.
