Microsoft Office Professional 2007 medialess?

Hi,

We purchased what we thought was a copy of MS Office 2007 from a local
supplier. When they delivered it contained no CD and somewhere on the
package said medialess. Where exactly is the software? And how do we
get what we paid for.

All we have is a piece of documentation with a license on it. I'm confused.

Thanks.

What you purchased is the license for MS Office version you bought that is
supposed to be preinstalled by a computer manufacturer. It is absolutely
worthless unless you have Office preinstalled on the computer (and this
preinstall does not include the trial version of Office which requires a
different license.)

It is equivalent in it's end user license agreement to an OEM version except
you don't get a disk and the system manufacturer is supposed to only sell
the license if they have preinstalled the software on a computer.

This pdf will show the system builder's requirement to install the software:

This web site explains it more fully.

As JoAnn said, go back to the retailer and get a refund.
