Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003

I accidentally deleted Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003, which
isn't really a problem. Unfortunately, when I try to reload it onto my
computer, I get an error message saying that the information source has been
corrupted. I still have the product key, as well as the disk. Any
suggestions as to what I should do?

It's not easy to delete an entire suite of programs.

What is the error message you're getting? Please do not paraphrase.

I deleted Office through the Control Panel (Add or Remove Programs), so I'm
fairly sure that everything was deleted.

Here is the series of events when I try to install Office:
The setup box opens, I type in my product key, then click "Next".
A new box pops up. The title bar says "Microsoft Office 2003 Setup". In the
body of this box is the big, yellow triangle with a black exclamation point
inside, next to which is the text "Microsoft Office Setup cannot continue
because the installation source has been corrupted." Below that is an "OK"
button (the only way to exit the box).
When the button is pressed, both dialog boxes close and another appears,
also with the "Microsoft Office 2003 Setup" title bar. This one says
"Microsoft Office 2003 Setup has been canceled. To complete installation at
another time, please run Setup again."

Hopefully this information will help in figuring out the problem.

have you tried copying the contents of the file from the disc to the
hard drive and running the same setup again???
