I have a new dell lap top with windows xp professional. I am trying to put
office professional 2003 on it. I had office 2003 on my old lap top. The
set up tells me it can not locate xp. What do I do?
Thanks,
Keith

If your copy of Office 2003 is an OEM version, it cannot
be installed on a different computer. An OEM license
is permanently bound to the very first computer it was
installed and activated on.

If you have a trial version of Office installed you have to uninstall this
first
your Office 2003 cd will state on the label whether its an OEM version
