I have been trying to install the MS Office 2007 trial for 2 days and when I
start it my computer freezes while the installation is already in progress,
why is that?

That would probably be related to your o/s
check the Event Viewer in whatever version of win you use

Control Panel>Adminastrative Tools>Event Viewer
You are looking for a failure/warning event that occurs at or about the time
of sys freeze

Hold on there. Do you mean you are trying to start an Office 2007
application while you are trying to install the Office Suite?
