Microsoft office Setup Assistant

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

After I installed the MS Office 2008, the MSO setup assistant window showed up. I filled out all necessary info and clicked ok. I got error message "Microsoft Office Setup Assistant has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I sent the error message to Microsoft and could not pass the MSO setup assistant in order to use word program.

After I installed the MS Office 2008, the MSO setup assistant window showed
up.

There is a problem where the Setup Assistant loops (opens at each launch),
but this does not sound like your problem.

Your best option might be to re-install the software.
