i have microsoft office 2003 student and teacher edition. the program
installed fine when i bought it 8 months ago, now all of a sudden when i try
to open any of the office applications it displays the error message"fatal
error during installation" message. i click ok then it the application
closes. i have tried to repair and reinstall the product but dont seem to be
getting anywhere. i have the windows xp home sedition os, and have tried to
do system restore but the problem still persists. i havent tried to uninstall
the product then reinstall because the version i have will only let the
product be installed on three pc's. all of my licenses have been used up so i
will not be able to install it again if i do this. is there any way around
the error without uninstalling the product first.
