Microsoft Office student edition instalation question

Hi, I just have a question regarding microsoft office student/teacher edition.

The program allows up to three instalations and my family has used those
three instalations, My computer, my sisters and our family computer. Both my
sister and I are in school so we meet the usage requirements. I am getting a
new laptop, as my computer is old and not working properly. My problem is
that the program has been installed three times already. I want to uninstal
it from my old computer and then instal it on my new computer. Is there any
way to do this because it would then be the fourth install, but still only
three computers.

Thanks for any help
Ayren

I'm also having this same problem. I have the software installed on three
computers. One of the computer's hard drive died and was replaced. Now I
can't but my software back on the computer with the new hard drive.
Hopefully someone can help with this problem!

Well, a Network Engineer certified by Microsoft once said to me...where do
you think the used software for sale on the web comes from. So if your
motherboard or harddrive dies you are still only using it for the appropriate
number of computers. I don't think he'd risk his certification and he has
sold many a used office bundle because of crashes and power surges and such.
So I guess I'll go with the guy with the 180 IQ.
