Microsoft Office update thinks my PC is a Mac

G

Greg a PC user

1. When I go to the Office updates page, I get the message, "Warning: You
are viewing this page with an unsupported Web browser. This Web site works
best with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later or Netscape Navigator 6.0
or later. Click here for more information on supported browsers." I'm using
the most recent version of IE 6.0. The page does not look like a typical
Microsoft page; the font is even different from other MS pages.

2. When I select Office Updates on the same page, again I get the message
above as well as, " Sorry, the Office Update site does not support Office for
Mac." I have a PC.

Can anyone offer help?

Clear your IE cache and try again.
