MICROSOFT OFFICE UPDATE

When I try to update Microsoft Update on Win98SE operating
system I get an error message:

Error: C:\TEMP\IXP000.TMP\IXP000.TMP\SR1PATCH\source.ini
can't be opened.
Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 setup ended prematurely because
of an error.

Please let me know if there is anything that can be done
to fix this error. Thank you in advance.

Try deleting the files in your temp folder and try again.

If that doesn't work through Office Update, go directly to the download page
for the patch you're trying to install, download it directly and install it.

For example, Office 2000 SR-1a can be found here:
