Microsoft Office XP Professional

When using Word, the program becomes very sluggish and unresponsive. I often
notice this problem occurs when using any text or table feature when creating
a document. Can anyone tell me why this happens?

My environment includes a Pentium P4, XP Professional, 1.5MB RAM, Office
SP3, plenty of hard disk space, running Norton Anti Virus 2004.

Try turning off the Office plug in in Norton AV, under options /
miscellaneous.
