Microsoft Office

Hello,
To start off...i thought that the help system on the
microsoft help was awful. it was far too long winded and
didnt help me out in any way.
My problem: I recently upgraded from windows 98 to XP.
The hard drive was wiped during this process. I now wish
to re-install Microsoft Office, but I have lost my CD key
code. Is there any way to install it other than buying a
new CD and a new code.
Any help greatly appreciated,
Thanks.
P.S. Please can you email all responses to me at the
address given. Thanks.

DEpending on the version of Office that you are talking about, and where you
acquired it, you may be able to get a key from Microsoft. You can contact
MS for a replacement key:

http://support.microsoft.com/directory/phone.asp?sd=gn

If it's an OEM copy (provided with the PC) you may need to contact that PC
supplier for the key.

Hope this helps.
