Microsoft Orgchart hangs during copy/paste in Powerpoint 97

When I try to modify a Microsoft Orgchart included in my presentation,
orgchart hangs when I copy any cell.
Powerpoint is version 97 running on windows XP.

Does anyone has an idea ?
