Microsoft Outlook 2003 : Send / Receive and POP3 error.

Will using the 'Send/Receive' fonction an error message appears saying that
the software is unable to connect POP3 on my Hotmail.com account.

Mine's not free and I can no longer connect via Outlook 2007.

Outlook 2003 works just fine. Web interface works just fine. 2007 worked
just fine until about 3 weeks ago.

Still no response from Microsoft.

I have. I have searched and searched. I even got me an army of nappy
headed ho's to help me search - and NOTHING!

Then, to add insult to injury, today I installed SP1 for Microsoft Office
Accounting Pro 2007 and it corrupted my data. Not even a system restore
could fix the problem.

MS is batting 1000 with me.

You are not alone. Many are in the same situation for the last 3 weeks. There is no known fix for this at present and >all I can say is to keep trying to see on a weekly basis if it has been rectified or Hotmail will put out an >announcement about it.

Paid Hotmail subscribers seem not to be very happy about this . This issue affects only Paid Hotmail users in >Outlook 2007

Free Hotmail accounts are not able to work in Outlook.(Paid subscription to Hotmail account do . See my post above in this thread) The same applies to OE
