Microsoft Outlook and Yahoo

P

paul

I have been using outlook to access my yahoo account for many years.

As I travel a bit I retained a copy of emails in my Yahoo inbox, even if
they were downloaded to Outlook.

Last night Outlook starting downloading all these emails that were still in
Yahoo Inbox, even though it had previously downloaded them when they came in.
Each time I clear them out of Outlook, it tries to retrieve them all again.

One solution would be to not keep a copy on yahoo, but this is not really
what I want to do. Any ideas?

Please, always post your version of Outlook.

Did you recently install an AV or Firewall set to scan incoming/outgoing mail? If yes, turn OFF that feature - it causes exactly the problem you are seeing. Do you have your Outlook set to leave copies on the server? Do you have them removed after xx days?
