Microsoft Outlook Calendaring Problem

I work in a hospital, and one of our physicians called me today with an
Outlook problem that I am unable to recreate for him (although I have
seen it one time in the past). He uses Outlook (not Express) at work
and syncronizes it with his PDA. His problem is that his PDA outlook
goes off very early every morning with an alarm, but there is no
appointment at that time.

On his office Outlook, when he views one calendar day at a time, there
are two time columns showing (instead of the normal 1). I'm sure I am
being really clear on that. It is almost as if there is one calendar
on top of another. Needless to say, all these alarms/notices are
becoming very annoying. Has anyone seen this before, and if so can you
tell me how to fix it? I need to have a solution relatively quickly,
so any assistance is tremendously appreciated!
