Microsoft Outlook I cannot open .eml attachments

I get e-mails with .eml attachments and I cannot do anything with them maybe
a setting is wrong or something

Outlook doesn't use the eml-format but the msg-format. You can open an
eml-file with Outlook Express, Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail. There are
quite a few other programs that are using this format as well. Ask the
sender which application you were meant to open the attachment with.

So what does "cannot do anything" mean regarding what you HAVE tried
already?

An .eml file is just a text-formatted file. Open it in Notepad or any
editor that can read text files.

if you can't open them, do you have google desktop installed? otherwise, we
need more than "can't do anything" unless you want wild guesses that may or
may not be the solution to your problem.
