We were deleting XP front page that got loaded onto the
wrong computer (its our accounting computer and oldest son
thought about putting XP on everybody's) when we deleted
it (we are on Windows 98) the icon and program for
Mircosoft Outlook also disappeared.
We can't find it and don't know how to get it back , my
search for help led me here. Brian D

Try re-installing it from your office CD?

It isn't clear what you mean. Has the program MS Outlook disappeared from
your computer, or has the icon for Outlook disappeared from your desktop
screen? Do a computer Search for Outlook.exe. It should be located
Programs/Microsoft Office/Outlook/ Outlook.exe. If it is not located -
reinstall from MS Office. If it is there, make a shortcut (right button) and
drag the new shortcut to the desktop. Rename it if you want (right button
again). Denzil.

The problem with this is that the Outlook icon on the desktop is NOT a
shortcut, so suggesting a shorcut isn't a solution.
