Running FP 2000. Is the Microsoft Personal Web Server used with FP
2000? If so, when and why do you need it?

PWS is not necessary for FP2000 and later versions.
You would use it (on Windows 98) only if you wished to test your website
locally and it uses Server-side coding (ASP, Perl,PHP etc.) or FrontPage
components that require FP2000 extensions.

The PWS is not required for display of static pages, or design of the site.

PWS was something that FP97/FP98 required. FP 2000 doesn't need it, although
you can run PWS on Windows 98 if you want to test the functions of the
server extensions.

No, you don't need it, and No FP2000 doesn't use it.

But, FP2000 can use a web server, if you so choose.
